Vernor Vinge on the Singularity
One significant point I disagree with strongly is the statement that most development of humans has already been achieved. I believe that DGBL will take our present cognitive capacities to levels that cannot be predicted now. Many 10s or even 100s of times our present capacities. And the amplification of presently unknown or measured capacities.
